I don't see my school, how can I join?

JewFest: International Student Conference is catered to Chabad on Campus registered groups. Please contact your local Chabad on Campus rabbi to find out about your Chabad group’s attendance.

Who is JewFest for?

This event is for every Jewish student! You must be a current full-time student, joining an authorized Chabad on Campus affiliated group. Student ID will be required at check-in and Saturday Ultra Event.

Do I need to be religious to participate?

No. You only need to be looking forward to a great weekend spent together with hundreds of fellow Jewish students!

Will there be time for me to see my friends/family in New York?

The JewFest event runs all weekend long from Friday 8:00 am, through Sunday 4:00 pm. Specific Chabad on Campus affiliate groups may personalize events and times for its group. For specific questions regarding your schedule please contact your group’ leader.

This sounds pretty cool, who else will be there?

We are expecting 1,000 students from across the United States, Canada, and the world. Last year we were joined by students from 100+ schools!

What level of learning can I expect?

JewFest: International Student Shabbaton accommodates students from varied academic and religious backgrounds and features many internationally acclaimed lecturers and teachers. We offer different tracks from Jewish ethics to advanced Talmudic law, inspirational workshops to mystical insights. There are dozens of choices of workshops and lectures to choose from… this is the ultimate buffet of Jewish education!

Where do we sleep while in New York? Can I stay with my friend(s)?

How do we travel to JewFest?

The general JewFest registration does NOT include travel, unless stated otherwise. Refer to the registration form or contact your Chabad rabbi (or group leader) for details.

How much does JewFest cost?

JewFest is heavily subsidized by philanthropists George & Pamela Rohr and other generous donors. JewFest application fee is $49 (early bird $36 until October 11). Choose your specific school to view full registration and/or travel packages for your group.

What does the money cover?

The JewFest fee covers lodging at local hosts, meals, events, workshops and Saturday night Ultra party. Your local Chabad on Campus affiliate may charge additional fees for events and/or travel specific to your group  For more information contact your group’s leader.

What is the refund policy?

Unless otherwise noted on the registration form, the last day for refunds is November 3, 2016. Please check the specific package you’ve chosen on the registration form as it may have an earlier refund deadline. Fees cannot be refunded after that date or November 3, 2016, whichever is earlier.
